The Culture Of Continuous Development and Regeneration
Continuous Improvement has become a catch phrase of Western business managers in the last decade of the Twentieth Century. Managers consume books and articles that tout Continuous Improvement as the salvation of American Industry in a globally competitive marketplace. This paper is focused on presenting why continuous improvement is important but not sufficient to the times we face. It is necessary to go beyond the idea of improving on what exist and to move to creating what does not yet exist nor has yet been conceived of to work on development and regeneration. The problem with this demand is, that most Western companies don't have a culture that can fully value such aspirations, much less an understanding of how to create one.
The purpose of this e-book is to develop an understanding of what must be created in Western corporate culture to make a continuous development and continuously regenerative ethic an accomplishable and, further, sustainable reality in Western Business. 30 pgs
